Planning permission has been obtained for a new-build 70-bedroom care facility with associated car /cycle parking, amenity space and landscaping.
To reflect the local vernacular, the chosen design comprises a 2.5 storey building with a pitched roof of 45 degrees, together with an array of simple gables and decorative dormers to achieve a domestic roofscape.
The facility is to be operated by Barchester Healthcare.
